Two-day Human Trafficking Workshop: Day 1: Introduction to Human Trafficking: This session will focus on defining human trafficking, identifying the types of human trafficking, and exploring the causes and consequences of human trafficking. Recognizing the Signs: This session will explore the signs and indicators of human trafficking, including physical, behavioral, and emotional indicators. Response and Prevention: This session will provide an overview of how to respond to human trafficking, including how to report suspected cases, and will discuss prevention strategies and best practices for organizations and individuals. Day 2: Victim-Centered Approach: This session will explore the importance of taking a victim-centered approach to human trafficking, including understanding the trauma experienced by trafficking survivors and how to provide support and services. Legal and Policy Framework: This session will provide an overview of the legal and policy framework surrounding human trafficking, including international and domestic laws, and will explore the role of government and civil society in addressing human trafficking. Addressing Trafficking in Specific Contexts: This session will explore how human trafficking manifests in different contexts, such as labor trafficking, sex trafficking, and trafficking in conflict and crisis situations.
